White Christmas - Dementia Friendly Screening U

One of the greatest Christmas films of all time! Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye star alongside Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen in this timeless festive story of a group of performers putting on a Christmas show in rural Vermont. Featuring classic songs including ‘Sisters’, ‘Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep’ and, of course, ‘White Christmas’.

Dementia Friendly Screenings are specially adapted film showings designed to create a relaxed and welcoming environment for people living with dementia, along with their families, friends and carers.

The lights in the auditorium are kept slightly raised, the sound level is reduced, and audiences are free to move around, chat or come and go during the film if needed. These screenings aim to make the cinema experience comfortable and enjoyable, helping people continue to enjoy films and social outings in a supportive and understanding setting.

Everyone is welcome, whether you are living with dementia, supporting someone who is, or simply prefer a more relaxed cinema environment.
